Where this sits in FEFCO 0201

Code
The international code for corrugated box styles, compiled by FEFCO and ESBO. Orders and specifications use the number instead of a long shape description. ICCA also uses it.
Number
0201. Of the four digits, 02 is the slotted style and 01 is the particular style. Variants add a hyphen, for example 0201-2.
Basic style
A slotted box. One sheet carries the top and bottom flaps and the joint. It ships flat and is closed with the flaps when used.
Shape of 0201
On both top and bottom, the length-panel outer flaps meet in the center. The basic flap length is half the width. Width-panel flaps are the inner flaps. In English this is also called a Regular Slotted Container (RSC).
Dimensions
Unless stated otherwise, sizes are inside sizes in mm, in the order length L, width B, height H. L is the longer side of the opening, B the shorter side, and H the distance from the opening to the bottom. JIS width W corresponds to this B. Sizes are measured from score centers on the flat blank, taking caliper into account.
Joint
The joint may be glued, stitched, or taped. Glue and stitch joints may sit on either the length or the width panel. Suffix examples are G for glue and S for stitches, written as 0201-G. The starting drawing puts the joint at the left, on the length-panel side.
How to read the drawing
The code dieline is arranged as seen from inside the box. Black solid lines and blue dashed lines on this screen are learning colors, separate from the line symbols in the code book.
Name in use
On the shop floor in Japan this is called A-style. The number matches JIS Z 1507 style 0201.
